These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Countryside Cupid website, matchmaking services, and event participation. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

  1. Eligibility

To use Countryside Cupid:

You must be at least 18 years old.

You must provide accurate, truthful information.

You must not use the service for any harmful, abusive, or unlawful purpose.

  1. Services Provided

Countryside Cupid may offer:

Online matchmaking

Profile-based match recommendations

In-person events, including speed dating

Communication tools (direct contact may occur only with mutual consent)

We do not guarantee finding a match or relationship outcome.

  1. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide accurate personal information

Use the service respectfully and safely

Treat other participants with courtesy

Follow all event rules and staff instructions

Avoid harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct

If you violate these terms, we may suspend or terminate your account or refuse event participation.

  1. Matchmaking Information

By providing personal information, you authorize us to:

Use it for matchmaking

Share limited profile details with potential matches

Contact you with match opportunities or event updates

You are responsible for your interactions with matches. Countryside Cupid does not conduct background checks.

  1. Event Participation

You agree that:

You participate in events at your own risk

Countryside Cupid is not liable for behavior of attendees

You may be removed from an event if you violate conduct rules

Photos or videos may be taken with your consent for promotional purposes (opt-out available)

  1. Payments, Refunds & Cancellations

Event fees and service charges must be paid in full at registration.

Refund policies will be listed during checkout.

If we cancel an event, we will provide a refund or credit.

No-shows may not be eligible for refunds.

  1. User Content

If you upload photos, descriptions, or messages:

You grant us a limited license to use this content for matchmaking purposes

You confirm you own or have rights to the content

You may not upload offensive or unlawful material

  1. Privacy & GDPR Compliance

Our use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which you agree to by using the service.

Countryside Cupid provides matchmaking “as-is” and without guarantees.

We are not responsible for:

The actions or behavior of other users

Relationship outcomes

Losses incurred through communication with matches

Third-party service outages (payment processors, hosting providers, etc.)

  1. Liability Limitation

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Countryside Cupid is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for our services in the previous 12 months

  1. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account or event participation if:

You violate these terms

You engage in harmful or unsafe conduct

We determine your participation is not in the best interest of the community

You may stop using our services at any time.

  1. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Iceland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of Iceland.
